Over a year ago I cracked a piece of my tooth biting into my staff meal at work. Gross, right? But because there was no pain and seemingly no major side effects of this happening, I wasn't worried. I did immediately bring up the possibility of my employer starting the process of providing us with dental coverage. Conversations were had, inroads were made. Unfortunately, that ball that started rolling never continued on its course.
Fast forward to this summer, as I found myself dealing with an absolutely horrendous toothache at the affected nerve, and the possibility of infection. I managed to get myself to an affordable dentist and have the situation assessed. Of course, I need a root canal. This procedure is difficult for an uninsured person to afford at the best of times, and the last month or so has hardly been the best of times for me.
Truly anything you can contribute to this will go a long way. I'm not ready to give up and simply lose the tooth. It's a molar, too! Pretty useful, I think, if my tooth facts are up to date.
I just can't see a way I can afford to get the root canal and afford to live (aka pay my bills). Thank you so much for considering a donation. Even sharing this would mean the world. And hey, it was just my birthday and a full and healthy smile is all I could ask for.
Love
