Hi, my name is Vanessa.. I write this with a heavy heart as my Uncle Andrew, my dads only brother, and someone who helped raise me, is left in a state of permanent paralysis from the shoulders down after being rear ended at 65 mph by a distracted driver on October 13th while he was stopped at a traffic light. My uncle is left with a long road ahead to help rehabilitate his body and adjust to this new permanent lifestyle. Currently on a ventilator and with many challenges ahead, my family and I are working tirelessly to get justice, but also help provide and advocate for the best care to give him the best quality of life we can. We’re trying to raise 500,000 to send him to a medically necessary Rehab facility specializing in spinal injuries as well as to help offset other costs regarding his total care. We appreciate any and all help, and we’re grateful for all of the support. Unfortunately, time is of the essence as his care after the hospital is vital to his long term health.
