An unexpected FIRE at The Factory Theater!

For 30 years, the Factory Theater has focused on bringing bold, original theater productions to Chicago audiences. On September 7, 2022, our theater was struck a major blow when the furnace in our space malfunctioned, causing a fire in our storage room. We were BEYOND lucky that someone was in the space at the time of the fire and could stop the blaze before the fire could move out of the storage room.

In many ways, we have been very fortunate in this experience, but it has left us with a heavy financial burden. As a result of the fire, we were forced to cancel our preview performances and needed to purchase a replacement furnace to open our fall production, the HOA. We are now in a financial predicament and are reaching out to you, our community, for support. Any amount is welcome.
