An Outfit Short Film

The purpose of "An Outfit" short film is to empower women and especially mothers. Postpartum depression is a serious issue, and it is something we hear about but don't talk about often enough. Body changes after having a baby are real. The internal struggles they go through are also real and can have serious effects. This inspirational short film will bring awareness and will open conversations about the topic.

Synopsis-Araceli has been avoiding shopping for almost two years since she had her baby. A last-minute wedding forces her to overcome her fear and get an outfit.

Film Goals:
The goal of “An Outfit” is to have it join a strong streaming platform where it will be more easily accessible to a bigger audience. Great relationships with festival directors have already been established with previous work from the director. Some of these film festival directors have relationships with HBO Max “Pa’lante” which will be one of our target platforms. After the short film runs its festival course, the possibility of turning the project into a feature film will also be considered.
