An orphan girl with no future

Hello, my name is Sara, a 17-year-old girl from Gaza, Palestine.

My life was simple but full of hope, even under difficult conditions. We lived in our small home in Rafah, where I shared the most beautiful moments of life with my family. But in a single moment, the war took everything from us. Our home was reduced to rubble, and my father was killed inside it before our eyes. Since that day, everything changed.

I became an orphan — with no shelter, no safety, and no future. The war forced me to leave behind my childhood and my dreams. Today, I live with my family in a tent that offers no protection from the scorching heat, the freezing cold, or the rain. We don’t have enough food, clean water, or even the basic necessities for a dignified life. We live in constant fear — of hunger, disease, and losing what little we have left.

I write to you today from the depth of my heart, asking for your compassion and support. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference in my life and the lives of my family. We are not asking for much — only a chance to survive, to live with dignity, and to restore a life that was taken from us.

مرحباً، أنا سارة، فتاة فلسطينية من قطاع غزة، أبلغ من العمر 17 عاماً.

كانت حياتي بسيطة ومليئة بالأمل، رغم كل الظروف الصعبة. كنا نعيش في منزلنا الصغير في رفح، حيث جمعتنا أجمل لحظات الحياة مع عائلتي. لكن الحرب سلبتنا كل شيء. في لحظة، تحوّل بيتنا إلى ركام، واستشهد والدي بداخله أمام أعيننا. منذ ذلك اليوم، تغيرت حياتي إلى الأبد.

أصبحت يتيمة، بلا مأوى، ولا أمان، ولا مستقبل. أجبرتني الحرب على ترك طفولتي وأحلامي خلفي، وها أنا اليوم أعيش مع عائلتي في خيمة لا تقي حر الصيف ولا برد الشتاء. لا نملك طعاماً كافياً، ولا ماءً نظيفاً، ولا أدنى مقومات الحياة الكريمة. نعيش في خوف دائم من الجوع والمرض، ومن أن نفقد من تبقى لنا.

أكتب إليكم اليوم بقلبي قبل قلمي، ألتمس منكم يد العون والرحمة. كل مساعدة، مهما كانت صغيرة، قد تُحدث فرقاً كبيراً في حياتي وحياة عائلتي. نحن لا نطلب الكثير، فقط فرصة للبقاء، للعيش بكرامة، وللعودة إلى الحياة التي سلبتنا إياها الحرب.

رجاءً، كونوا نوراً في هذا الظلام، وساعدونا على النجاة
