Hey there, my name is Joy Christina. I reside in Atlanta, GA and own several businesses across the city. Over the years, I have grown closely connected to two amazing charities that work tirelessly to open up opportunities for our black and brown youth to be exposed to experiences beyond the neighborhoods they only know. Whether traveling to a foreign country or walking the streets of Harvard University, our kids are gaining valuable life experiences they would not have otherwise received.
And guess what? With the gracious donations of past supporters, the charities can offer these much-needed resources to our children at NO COST. These organizations are the boots on the ground and are closely connected to where the need actually resides. So you KNOW your dollar directly goes to a viable impact. That is why I'm here TODAY. Help assist me in raising money to support the following organizations:
All Abroad: All Abroad, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, raises charitable donations to enable service-driven global travel for underrepresented high school students. With our considerable knowledge of travel, heart for servitude and financial resources, our platform starts youth on the path to global citizenship. Students can strengthen the leadership, creativity and communication skills needed for success while positively affecting global communities.
Our travel programs allow young people to be a powerful force for social good. Youth can be global change agents when given the space and opportunity to make a difference. Changing their surroundings and networks encourages collaboration, team building and reflection. Students develop leadership skills, become more self-confident and culturally aware as a result of being actively engaged in adaptive environments. These skills are ultimately used to build their own communities and inspire more youth. Fostering a sense of purpose and independence through service and travel empowers students to create sustainable habits for success in a global world.
Future Successors: A 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization devoted to bringing awareness and resources towards elements that defers underprivileged youth from reaching their full potential of success.
Aside from providing students with practical business education, our organization exists to improve the quality of life in America. It starts with the youth, and our programs are an excellent way to get students thinking "out of the box" and being active in their communities. Whether it’s touring small businesses and historical sights or going to major universities across America, having our children out there has proven beneficial for them and their communities.
Our organization wants to give students ideas of owning a business and how to be granted financial freedom. To ensure the mission is reached, we have kick-started several programs for students, linking them with business owners throughout their residency who give them firsthand knowledge of what it takes to be an entrepreneur.
