My name is Lydia Damato and I am writing this plea on behalf of a dear friend and wonderful human being, Paul Crist. For those of you that know me, you know that I do not take personal causes lightly, but this is a genuine individual that has reached the point of defeat and is too humbled and debilitated by the feeling of failure. Hence, Paul is too ashamed to ask for more help since he has been asking for help since last year and he is now at his breaking point.

Paul is/was a businessman that owned and operated Hotel Mercurio in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 20 years. Unfortunately, he was duped by some shady individuals and improper paperwork. Long story short, he lost his business on a minute's notice and just like that, he and 25 employees were found with no livelihood. Paul did his best to borrow and ask for money in the past so that he could pay his employees their severance, but alas, he is in a financial bind himself now.

Of course, there is much more to this story, but the bottom line is this: please, please, please if you know Paul or have patronized his wonderful establishment or stayed at the iconic Mercurio Hotel, please find it in your heart to reach into your pocket and send Paul some money now.

Paul is an upstanding member of the community and has generously contributed to so many charities and causes in the past. If you are of the entertainment world, you know that Paul is an avid supporter and always, always supported the industry with attendance and financial support.

It is now time to reciprocate his genuine caring and support of our community and for him to be humble enough to receive help from others.
