Stand with the Russells

Thank you for taking time to read what is going on. If you know Carol at all she never thought anything like this would happen to her. If you know Carol at all asking for help is unusual but she is no stranger for helping everyone else. Her husband and herself have helped many over the last 20 years. In February 2016, I began to have issues with my left foot.  It wasn't moving like my other foot and my leg was weak.  I decided to go to the doctor, first a podiatrist, then a physiatrist, a back surgeon and then a neurologist.  Each doctor either saying "I was a mystery" through getting back surgery which did nothing to change my foot.  Finally, in November 2016 the clinical neurologist says I have a neurological disease.   Thank God for my faith.  I know that because of God I will overcome this!  His word says so. I continued to work until around March 2017, when my balance was getting weird and fatigue.  This started affecting my payroll.  In April I went on medical leave to pursue a holistic approach to the disease, which has slowed down the progression to the point of reversing.  However, because of the loss of time and only my husband's payroll, we began to get behind on our mortgage.  Then on top of that the short term disability we thought would come did not-only two payments.  Then my extension to medical leave was denied based on erroneous reasons because they found my holistic doctor not credible.   So 10 weeks waiting for Short Term Disability approval, finding out they denied it based on an incorrect statement was disheartening.  They are talking about us appealing but that can take another couple months. We have been working with our mortgage company but we only have to October 1,  to come up with $9000.00 to get back on track and avoid foreclosure.  As of to date, we have until 12/31/17 for the $9,000.00. This is the last thing I thought I would be doing.  I have been working since I was 17 and didn't expect anyone to have to give me a handout but here I am.   Just believing in faith that someone might be willing to help us out.  I am not even asking for the true amount.   In  November SSID begins but we are believing for healing manifesting in the natural.  This money will be used to catch up on our mortgage and household bills while we are waiting.
