Hello Friends,

I am requesting help with rent. I am 2 months behind in my rent. Honestly, this is very humiliating having to ask for money. I am almost 65 and am embarrassed that I find myself in this situation. I just want to be able to live quietly in my one-bedroom apartment and be able to buy food, gas, and pay my utilities. You'd think that would be possible in the U.S. Even though I only make $26,496 a year, I don't qualify for SNAP benefits. It is not a great time to be old in America. Whatever you can do to help would be much appreciated.
