I am an international undergraduate student from Tunisia studying Communication and Public Relations at Drexel University in Philadelphia. I worked incredibly hard to earn the opportunity to study in the United States, and I am creating this fundraiser because I am now facing a difficult financial situation that could prevent me from continuing my education.

Coming to the United States to pursue my education has been a dream that required years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. As an international student, I have always understood the responsibility and privilege that comes with studying abroad. I have worked extremely hard to make the most of this opportunity and to build a better future for myself and my family.

Throughout my studies, I have maintained a 4.0/4.0 cumulative GPA and have been on the Dean’s List every academic term since I began my studies.

Unfortunately, my circumstances changed drastically after the loss of my father in December 2024.

His passing was devastating emotionally, but it also created a tremendous financial burden for my family.

As a result, I currently have an outstanding university balance and a financial hold on my student account. I need to resolve this balance in order to remain enrolled at Drexel University and continue my degree.

I have been doing everything I can to find alternative sources of support. I have been actively applying for scholarships and reaching out to organizations and individuals who may be able to help.

I am doing everything within my ability to support myself and find solutions, but I have reached a point where I cannot overcome this financial burden alone. My ability to remain enrolled at Drexel is at risk.

Why I Am Asking for Help

I aspire to attend law school and build a career in the legal field. Completing my degree at Drexel would bring me one important step closer to that goal and to the future I have spent years working toward.

I am determined to graduate, become financially independent, and build a meaningful career. I want to use my education to create a stable future for myself and my family and to honor the memory of my father through the life I build.

I do not want financial circumstances beyond my control to prevent me from completing the degree I have worked so hard to earn.
