An Innocent Child

On  Tuesday March 3, 2020  Kamya was at a friends home while mom was at work. She was sitting on couch playing the video game.  At approximately 8pm gun shots rang out.  A bullet came through the window and struck Kamya in the back. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance  and immediately taken into surgery.  After surgery, she was moved to icu.  The bullet entered in her back /flank area and traveled upward. It hit  her spleen, her kidney,  colon (had to remove part of it) hit her stomach (had to be repaired in two places) her diaphragm n her small intestines. Went up toward heart cavity and came out by her collar bone She has a breathing tube in n drainage tubes.  She’s alive but has a long road to recovery.  Mom is her sole provider and will have to take time off of work. Kamya will need around the clock care once she’s released, which won’t be for a while.  I am asking for help to assist mom with caring for this baby as she still has to pay bills and keep a roof over her head.  She will also need gas to get to and from the appointments  in the near future. We appreciate anything that can be donated/given. This innocent baby’s  life has now changed forever at the hands of someone else.
