My husband and I recently experienced the loss of his service dog. She did so much for my husband who suffers from a rare case of Charcot-Marie-Tooth, a progressive and aggressive neuropathy disease. This disease has affected all of his motor skills, his hearing, and is becoming dependent on his wheelchair. His life without her makes it challenging to continue doing the things he enjoys around the house. Recently, we were given hope to buy a high end in-home assistance dog. Lani is a wonderful match for my husband. She will not only provide him companionship, but she will be able to work alongside him because of the special training she has received, but most importantly improve his quality of life and heal the hole in his heart.
We need financial assistance towards her purchase and having her sent to us. This is a great chance for Lani to be in our home, where we will love her and give her purpose.
