We can get up and running. We can pay some people now for a short time. More money means more security for writers over the summer. It means rapid response draft coverage. It means the T25. It means time to build up a sustainable system to maintain possession and get shots from the high danger areas while being defensively responsible. Wait, no, it means an offseason and then a legitimate opportunity, not just to maintain PPP, but to get better over 82 games next season.

We want PPP to always be fun first, and I'm committed to creating a user experience that's better than it's been in recent years, and to make site performance a priority while supporting our high traffic and heavy commenting. We want a site that looks good too, but most of all we need it to work for us -- no matter whether you comment 500 times a day or never, if you just want to read the Hot Dog story again or you need the latest news.
