Hi, my name is Katie Contreras. I am a 5th grade teacher in Oakley, California and my 5th grade colleague is in need. Her name is Beverly Fondacabe and her husband Perry found out just a few short months ago that he has glioblastoma which is the most common and aggressive type of brain cancer. They know now that he has multiple tumors on his brain and they are going to be starting treatments as quickly as possible to help fight it. Beverly and Perry need to focus on his treatments and fighting this disease, not finances right now.

Perry is self employed, but since his diagnosis, he has been unable to work. Beverly is a teacher and has had to take a lot of time off to be there for him and his appointments. She is running out of paid time off. Therefore, they are in need of help. Any donations would go to helping Beverly and Perry cover the costs of him not being able to work and other medical bills related to his treatments.

Beverly and Perry have been married for 23 years and have a son who is currently a junior at DePaul University. He has a year and a half left and Perry wants nothing more than to be able to see his only son graduate. He is going to fight as hard as he can to make it to his son's graduation.
