A good friend of ours parents, Mike and Tonda Hoffman, lost EVERYTHING in the huge tornado that devastated Indian Lake, Ohio on March 14, 2024.
Thankfully they survived with only minor injuries, though through unfortunate circumstances they did not have homeowners insurance. An entire lifetime reset in an instant with no clear way forward for two amazingly good-hearted people.
We are hoping through the generosity of others they are able to establish a foothold to navigate the coming days. This gofundme is set up for those not local to be able to donate. There is a savings account at a local bank (Richwood Bank) under their names for those in the area that wish to donate so they receive 100% of your contribution.
We are also monetizing their videos of the tornado and the aftermath on their property on YouTube and TikTok and will be donating 100% of the proceeds directly to them.
This family has helped us so much over the last few years and our oldest daughter is best friends with their granddaughter. Many nights have been spent in this home. Helping us when we needed someone to get her to and from volleyball, taking her with them to so many fairs and other events, just treating Averi like one of their own. No idea why bad things happen to good people but our hope is we can do a little to help them through one of the hardest times in their lives.
Whether you help by viewing and sharing the videos, leaving a comment of encouragement, saying a prayer, or donating money in any fashion, anything helps. If 1,000 people donate a dollar...
Help us make this transition into the next chapter of their lives as easy as possible.
Thank you for any help you can give!
