As many of you know, my good friend and longtime assistant coach Dale Rapson Jr. has been battling liver cancer. For the past five years, Dale has made countless trips to Sloan Kettering for many treatments to combat this horrible disease. Now, with a heavy heart, I must share that Dale's doctors have advised him they are discontinuing his treatments because there is nothing more they can do to control the cancer. They have ordered home hospice care for him.

We all think of Dale as a big, strong young man, who has spent his life assisting so many students as a teacher and a coach, but this cancer is relentless. And now he needs an assist from you. Dale and his family, especially his wife Janine and their three daughters, Rilynn (12), Nadia (9), and Kenedi (4), are facing unimaginable challenges ahead. The funds raised will help with daily expenses, medical bills, hospice care, and especially with the loss of health insurance, which Dale provides for his family.
