Help an artist get her gift of drawing back

This fundraiser is for a very close friend of mine, who, due to unfortunate circumstances, has found herself in a bad spot.

She's an independent artist, with aspiring ideas and wonderful art to share. She has stories she wants to tell with her work, but unfortunately has developed carpal tunnel in her drawing hand. This has naturally severely impacted her ability to draw, and because of her less than savory living conditions and struggle with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, one of her primary reasons for doing independent work) she is unable to earn the money properly herself.

The fundraising goal will help cover the cost of surgery needed to help fix her carpal tunnel, as well as some additional funds to help her get back on her feet.

Life has been hitting her incredibly hard recently, and she has found little motivation to continue trying to care for herself after what's happened to her. I would share, but it's not my place to. Hence, this is why I am creating the fundraiser myself in her stead.

Naturally, anything helps. I want to do something for her, help her get through a tough spot in her life by any means. She deserves another chance.
