Help Us Start an Artisan Shop in Hillsboro, New Mexico

Hello friends, family and community!

We would truly love to have your support on our new endeavor.

Jason and I are opening an artisan shop and coffee spot in our small, historic town of Hillsboro, New Mexico.

We aim to offer a reason for travelers to stop and enjoy our town, as well as create a gathering space for our community. Our vision is an artisan shop with an attached gallery to host occasional events, as well as an outdoor coffee hangout. This space will allow us to showcase our ceramic and woodworking business's along with several other local and nonlocal artisans. We now have the opportunity to rent a beautiful, historic adobe building through a dear friend and we hope you will help us.

While we will both continue to work our full-time jobs, we see our shop as a Friday through Sunday opportunity to showcase high level of craftsmanship, an outdoor coffee spot and hopefully create a destination shopping experience.

To maximize our selling season we will plan to open our shop on Saturday, May 25th. PS: You are all welcome to the grand opening.

While Jason and I will be doing the labor, we are asking for support in purchasing the initial materials required. Your donations will go towards the purchasing of material to build the shelving and displays, a point of sale system, outdoor tables and chairs, signage and packing materials, coffee carafes, and $ to purchase other artists work.

You and up to 2 friends will receive an immersive ceramics experience. I will teach you both hand building and wheel throwing and you will come home with multiple pieces to show.

Whether you are local or flying in, this offer includes a two night stay in a beautiful, historic abode house with evening dinners by the campfire.
