An Angels Journey to Fight Cancer

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because my mom, Angel, is going through an unexpected medical crisis. If you know her, you know she’s one of a kind — hilarious, loyal, and endlessly kind. She has a way of making people laugh on their worst days and brings warmth to every room she walks into.

Recently, she was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. She’s part of the 15% of lung cancer patients who have never smoked, a reminder that this disease doesn’t always come from lifestyle choices and no one deserves to face it alone. She’s now preparing for major surgery to remove part of her lung, followed by chemotherapy in the coming weeks. While she’s staying strong and positive, this next chapter will be physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming.

As much as my mom would never ask for help herself, I’m doing this because I believe she deserves every bit of support right now. We’re raising funds to help ease the burden — from medical bills and meals to gas for appointments and anything else that might bring her peace and comfort during recovery.
