An Adjunct's Plight

My name is Patrick Pritchett. I've started this GoFundMe page to help me cover basic expenses (rent, car loan, etc) until mid-September. I work as a part-time English instructor at UConn-Hartford which means I don't get paid from mid-May to mid-Sept. Usually, I save enough over the academic year to cover that period but this year I had to deal with unexpected car repairs (to the tune of $4000), which left me drastically short. So I need a little help getting through this last stretch of the summer. It's difficult for me to ask this way and I don't know what kind of response to expect, but any little bit will help. I've looked for work but have found nothing I'm qualified for. I'm losing sleep over my predicament. Please give if you can. With sincere gratitude, Patrick
