An Act of Kindness Can Change a Life; Support Medical Needs

On June 23, 2022, I underwent surgery after suffering an incomplete spinal cord injury to my lower lumbar spine. While I have made significant progress through hard work, the injury has left me struggling to meet the financial demands the healthcare system has imposed on me to secure the medical equipment that helps me reduce pain and restore independence. At the encouragement of several kind individuals, I have started this GoFundMe in order to help purchase a higher quality, ultralight fitted wheelchair and other DME needs after struggling with the tools I have been provided. Any funds donated will go toward the purchase of this equipment and to support my care, and receipts will be provided to GFM for verification when the full fund goal has been achieved and the purchase of medical equipment made.

In today’s challenging economy, I know how valuable your dollars are, and what a deeply significant act of kindness it is to bring hope to someone struggling by contributing to my fundraiser. An act of kindness, no matter how small, whether in words or deeds can truly touch — an even save— a life.
