Single mom  Amy (and friend of many of us!) just got diagnosed with  aggressive breast cancer and is starting treatments soon. We need to make her home easy to care for and heal in so she can spend time taking care of herself and precious time with her daughters! Amy's girls are 14 and 6 and her desires are to make this as smoooth as possible on them.  She will be undergoing chemotherapy as soon as 2 to 3 weeks and then facing surgery. Amy's mom was taken from us at the young age of 49 and you can imagine the devastation of this diagnosis for Amy at the age of 39 for herself. The hopes of this fund is to get her through at least 6 months of treatments and help with Rent and Pg&E.
A few of us have been in this VERY spot and know the amount of time healing that is needed as well . She's been there for us - now we need to give back. Amy is someone who gives her time and her heart to others that need help and rarely does so for herself.
