My name is Jessica and I am making this gofundme for my mother. In early September my mom walked into the ER with severe breast pain and swelling. Even the doctors were surprised to learn that she has inflammatory breast cancer! We soon after learned she was in stage 3a and has a 70% at beating it and living a cancer free life. Her treatment plan consists of chemotheraphy then a masectomy and then radiation. She has now finished 4 of 8 rounds of chemo and is handling it well. Because of the pain she has been in from the cancer itself and also being physically and mentally drained by the chemo, she is on short term disability which is only 60% of her salary. As her medical bills continue to grow we cannot keep up. She is hoping for financial help for the $8,000 worth of medical bills she currently has. The money may also be used towards bills as needed. If anyone deserves this help it is my mom. From raising me as a single mother and doing an amazing job to random acts of kindness giving cute old ladies rides so they didn't have to walk in the rain, she is the type of person who is always looking to help other people. Throughout this whole process she has had a smile on her face and is constantly saying things like "I try not to get down about my cancer because I know many people are in even worse situations." She is truly a great woman. The process is not fun or easy or cheap but she plans to beat cancer's butt and enjoy watching her new grandbaby grow up!
