Amy's Legacy: Care for Haylen and Remi

Help Remi and Haylen After Losing Their Mom, Amy Newsome.  Our hearts are broken as we mourn the sudden loss of Amy, a devoted mother and loving friend, at just 42 years old. Amy’s two daughters, Remi (13) and Haylen (20), are now navigating this unimaginable loss while trying to rebuild their lives. Amy was a funny and kind soul who loved her girls, but her unexpected passing has left them without any financial support, life insurance, or a home to call their own. Now, we are coming together to rally around Remi and Haylen to give them the stability and security they deserve. 

Haylen, at just 20, is stepping up in extraordinary ways. She’s not only grieving her mother but also raising her 1½-year-old son, Wyatt, while preparing for the arrival of twin boys this April. Her strength is inspiring, but she can’t do it alone. 

Remi is only 13, still in school, and now facing life without the mother who loved her so deeply. She deserves the opportunity to focus on her education, dreams, and healing without the overwhelming burden of financial worries. 

We are raising funds to:

 • Help Haylen with childcare and basic needs for Wyatt and her twins. 

 • Provide stability for Remi as she continues her education and help pay for Remi’s dance competition team so she can continue what she loves

 • Cover daily living expenses, medical bills, and other unforeseen costs. 

 • Create a cushion for their future as they work to rebuild their lives. 

Amy’s greatest legacy is her daughters, and we want to honor her memory by giving them the best chance to thrive. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and show these girls they are not alone in this journey.
