Amy's Cancer and Tending the garden of the Soul.

Walk with me through a secret garden. This landscape generously expresses the vibrant blooms of the human experience. It is quiet yet giving. It is the terrain that our dear friend Amy has cultivated in her life as a gardener and a painter. Quiet yet giving. Both generous and vibrant.
We didn't expect to have to return to the chapter on cancer once again. Amy has already walked this path. We thought Cancer was a word left in the compost. The first rounds of cancer treatment that Amy endured in 2019 and its emotional entropy were traumatic enough. In early March, she developed a lump in her neck. X-rays and a biopsy are pointing toward stage 4 metastatic cervical cancer. No longer just cervical cancer, she has found significant evidence in her lymph nodes and in her lungs. This has left her with a diminished voice and a possible diagnosis that is disheartening, though they are still running tests. She has a follow-up appointment on April 6th.
Amy would like to move with grace through this next unexpected chapter. She is keeping up with her practices of yoga and meditation. She does not know how much time she has left. In transparency, she is feeling emotionally and physically "tapped out". She is trying to accept all that is coming at her. This is a very challenging time.
To help support herself, she has moved back to California to be with family, though she misses her friends and gardens in Oregon. In the coming months, she will have to settle her affairs in her beloved home in Corvallis, deal with difficult decisions, accumulate numerous medical bills, and work through all the emotionally charged aspects of this serious diagnosis.
Please show support and solidarity for Amy during these times as she tends the garden of her soul and manages the gates of grief. Financially, Amy has prioritized relationships and working with the land over monetary gain. She has led a life of simplicity and needs as much financial and emotional support as possible. Amy is a quiet, yet giving woman. It is hard for her to create an appropriate call for help. She has dedicated herself to art and nature. This cherished soul needs help tending the garden of her life.
Can you offer some financial assistance to our beloved sister Amy? Any amount helps.
