On June 25, 2024, I received the diagnosis of bilateral breast cancer. Since then, with great support, I've been through surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, countless labs, and tests. Now I enter another stage, reconstruction. My first reconstruction surgery will be on October 20, 2025.

My surgeon requires patients to stay on-site at a hotel for up to three weeks. This means that there will be unexpected expenses that insurance will not cover for me and my care team.

Through my journey, many have asked how they could help. I honestly didn't have any unmet needs. Now, I am asking those that want to, to help cover hotel, meal, miscellaneous expenses, and insurance premiums while I'm not earning a salary from my employer. (I am earning Short Term Disability, so I did make plans for the known expenses.)
