Amy's Back to Normal Fund

Hi, friends. I'm in a bit of a tight spot, and I need some help.

In July, I had to move out of the apartment I've lived in for years because the building's plumbing has to be completely replaced. I've been temporarily relocated to another unit that is much smaller (half of my stuff is still in boxes or at my mom's). This place has been pretty awful (ask me about the rat sometime - or the sewage!), but knowing it was temporary made it tolerable. Then, a month after I moved in, I lost my job.

I've started working part-time in a local restaurant, but I haven't been paid yet and the few hours I've worked caused Texas to cut my unemployment - just barely enough to begin with - in half. I signed up for an ACA medical plan, but if I don't make a payment in the next couple of days, it won't go into effect. My bills haven't been paid and I can't afford movers to get back into my apartment, which I'll hopefully be able to do in March.

I've lived in this place for nearly 20 years and I will be so relieved to get back. I've been very happy, and it means a lot to me. It's not a house, but it is my home. Most importantly, it's operated by a not-for-profit, so I can (and will continue to be able to) afford it. If I lose this place, chances are very slim that I can find another one I could afford in Austin.

So, I am asking for help. I've gone through the funds I raised earlier, except for just enough to get my rent paid, so I have to do this again, which I wish I didn't. If you're able to help, I will be more grateful than I can say.
Thanks so much,
Amy
