Happy Lenten Season & New Year Errrrbody!

I have signed up for 4 half-marathons this year & would like to turn my miles into merits for us all. My hope is to raise $75 per mile I run which will go towards the followng foundations that resonate with me:
1. Autism Speaks | The fastest growing developmental-disability in the U.S. | as an ABA therapist assistant & former paraeducator, I've been able to work with the most unique individuals who taught me how to think outside the box | They redefined what effective communication is for me and taught me to celebrate the small wins.
2. No Bully (SF based) | Because bullying is NEVER okay- even if someone hurt you, never hurt them back | Cure them with Kindness. | Growing up and for various reasons, I was often teased by family, strangers & friends alike | What was worst than that was seeing other's go through the same thing alone | It took a long time but I learned to surround myself with positive influences and focus on true happiness in correlation to self-worth | Not everyone is fortunate to have the same solid foundation whether they are the bully or the victim, it's important to express the importance of anti-bulling and it's impacts on people and society. Sticks & Stones & words will hurt. | Be a hero. Be Nice :)
3. TNTT (Auburn, Wa Branch)| Because embracing your cultural roots, faith and social responsibilty sets such a solid foundation for us to rise on. | As a former teacher/mentor and carrier of the VP title for this youth society- I still find myself the student. I have experienced life changing moments & overcame my most difficult challanges, gained a community that supports my endeavors, and endless friendships. | Keep the positive vibes & let the good times roll. <3
Note: The top 2 donors will recieve a unique large canvas painting of their city skyline painted by yours truly. (deadline 6/1/15).
Everyone will recieve a personal thank you gift from me at the end as a sign of gratitude. Thank youuuuuu <3
