In Loving Memory of a Gentle Soul Lost Too Soon ️
Hello, my name is Fatima Anguiano, and my heart is heavy as I share the unimaginable tragedy that has struck our family.
On August 28th, around 2:00 pm in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, my beloved uncle, Sergio Rene Anguiano Garza —my father’s brother—was involved in a devastating car accident right as he was pulling out of work. His vehicle caught fire, and he was unable to escape. The most heartbreaking part: this was a hit-and-run. The individuals responsible fled the scene after hitting his car, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle and crashed into 3 parked cars and left him unconscious inside the burning car.
My uncle was more than just family—he was the heartbeat of every room he entered. He had a quiet strength, a gentle spirit, and a laugh that could soften the hardest day. He never missed a chance to check in on us, to celebrate even our smallest victories, or to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He was the yin to his twin’s yang—the calm, the balance, the peace.
His loss has left a void that words cannot fill. We are devastated, not only by the cruelty of the circumstances but by the absence of a man who gave so much love and asked for nothing in return.
We are asking for your support to help our family navigate this painful time—whether it’s to assist with funeral costs or simply to honor the memory of a man who deserved so much more than the way he was taken.
If you feel moved to help, we would be deeply grateful. And if you can’t donate, please share his story. Let his kindness echo beyond this tragedy.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us.
With love,
The Anguiano-Garza Family

Si te sientes impulsado a ayudar, estaríamos profundamente agradecidos.
