In December 2014, Amy lost her job as a caring, compassionate HR Manager. Shortly after, in January 2015, she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and Ventricular Tachycardia.
Since January, Amy has been in and out of hospitals having many tests and procedures and costly medications.
On June 16, 2015, Amy is scheduled to have LVAD surgery and will also receive an Internal Defibrillator.
Once Amy has recovered from the LVAD surgery, she will have a Heart Transplant.
Besides the substantial medical costs, her husband Rob has taken time off of work and they have incurred travel and hotel costs. Recovery from the heart transplant will require him to take more time from work and be away from their children.
