More Than Life Support...help Amy & Marty Brink

It's been one week since the Brink family's world was turned upside down. Marty and Amy Brink live in Franklin, NC and have been married for 10 yrs (together for 19 yrs). Last week on the night of Sept. 16th with no warnings, Marty Brink aspirated in his sleep. By the time he made it to the hospital, his lungs were severely damaged and he was officially diagnosed with ARDS, acute respiratory distress syndrome, as well as, acute lung injury, sepsis, and pneumonia. Marty is currently on a ventilator for life support, and the doctors believe it could be at least a month before his lungs are able to heal. His loving wife, Amy, has been by his side the entire time. Marty was transported to Mission hospital in Asheville, NC. Amy thankfully has been blessed with the ability to stay in Asheville near Marty at The Rathbun House, but it's unfortunately only a temporary 2 week option.  The stress and anxiety of having your loved one on life support is hard enough, without having to add in the financial burden of extensive medical bills, not being able to work, and having to find a temporary place to reside near the hospital.  A little help goes a long way and I'm asking for your help to give even just a little to help reduce Amy's financial stress in this unimaginable situation, so that she can focus on just being with her husband.
