Amy Ackridge unknowingly had a brain aneurysm and it ruptured on Wednesday, September 28th. That night she was transported to Brackenridge Hospital to see a neurologist and emergency brain surgery. Thursday, September 29th, she underwent 9 and a half hours of surgery and is recovering in the ICU. Her husband Charles and family are by her side every step of the way.
