Amy's Fight For Life - A Mother's Worst Fear

Soon after this family picture was taken, my 35 year old daughter Amy (she's the beautiful blonde) was diagnosed with Liver Metastasis from Colon Cancer.  She has always been healthy but one day she felt a need to visit Urgent Care because of an nagging stomach pain thought to be from a gallbladder issue.  To our horror - and after many lab tests, ultrasounds, scans, and biopsies - this stomach pain led to the diagnosis of Colon Cancer which has now spread to her liver.  Her struggle has just begun.

I am asking for donations to assist my daughter with what will be required for her fight from this devastating diagnosis.  Within a month and a half her life was changed unexpectedly.  Not that anyone has the opportunity to plan for this type of news, I am doing what I can to help and support my daughter, to help ease her fears  and also ensure that she and her family can financially deal with the battle she is in.

All donations will go towards helping her pay for: 

Medical costs including: weekly chemotherapy treatments which require co-payments of $150 per session,  high deductibles,   20% of her medical expenses, and any prescribed medications needed.  

 In addition, all funds raised will assist her and her husband in providing for their family of 6.  At this time, it is uncertain when (or if) Amy can return to work.  

I never thought I would need to be reaching out for help for my child.  My heart is breaking and I feel helpless!  Our family is grateful to have such wonderful and caring people in our lives.  We greatly appreciate the continued support and prayers offered by all.
