Our pal Amy has been hobbling around on a crummy hip for ages now. Over the past few years, it has gotten so bad she cannot even walk to the neighborhood bar to drown her sorrows in beer! Fortunately, Amy found a good doctor this year who she trusts; a doctor who has encouraged her to finally make an appointment to get hip replacement surgery this July. Yes indeed, our Amy is going to soon be running circles around us all! Just you wait!
But before she runs any marathons, she will FIRST need to get the surgery, and and THEN take some time off work to RECOVER from the surgery.
This is where you come in with your big heart and your money! Dig deep, and give some $$ to Amy's Bionic Hip Fund! Your cash will help pay for the surgery itself (only partially covered through insurance, yay America), and also the recovery. And when Amy is all recovered, we will film a SPECIAL BIONIC HIP DANCE OF AMY and send it to you all as a thank you.
