Help Amy Save Sammy!

On Nov 28th Amy was faced with a gut wrenching decision: Give her beloved Sammy the operation that would save his life? Or say goodbye because of the huge expense?
5yrs ago Sammy changed Amy's life and she is not about to give up on his. The choice was clear, but his life-saving surgery is serious... and so is the cost.
I'm Amy's niece Sally, and I have watched - as many of you have, what a huge presence Sammy has become in Amy's life. She's truly a doting Dog Momma, and she has the 100s of Facebooks pics to prove it! (lol)
Amy and I share many things in common - we are tall and love to laugh. Also... Amy and I do not have children, a fact that we have joked about many times. But it's an important point when it comes to this situation, one that I deeply relate to. Our dogs are our babies. Our Family. It may seem silly to some, but I know exactly how it feels.
I was in the same place 2yrs ago when my darling Frances had a critical bowel obstruction. I was thinking:
"I can't believe I have to put down my puppy because I can't afford the surgery..."
Well, with the grace of God and kindness of friends & strangers, my little Franny is still with us and giving us so much joy everyday.
I asked Amy if I could set up this fundraiser for her - because I know her friends & family want to help!
Amy needs our help you guys.
The stress of being told the surgery and vet bills could reach up to $12,000 is something Amy shouldn't have to shoulder as she is starting the long road of caring for a paralyzed, possibly permanently disabled dog.
Anything you can spare will help!!
Even a few dollars can be your way of saying that we know how much Sammy means to her and we want to help with his road to recovery.
Amy doesn't "lean on" many people or ask for help. She has been making her own way in this world for a long time. She's tough and capable.
But right now she needs some support.
Lets show Amy she's not "Saving Sammy" alone.
Thank you SO much.
Much Love
