Amy Rose is the sweetest girl and has been waiting patiently at the shelter for far too long. As one of the shelter's longest residents, she watched many dogs, including her own puppies, find loving homes while she was left behind. She was the best mom, always gentle and loving, but her own chance at happiness kept slipping away.

I work at the shelter and saw Amy Rose get adopted, only to be returned because her new owner couldn't afford the surgery she desperately needs. When I started fostering her, I felt an immediate connection. I knew I had to do everything I could to save her and keep her from living in pain. Now, I'm committed to giving Amy Rose the second chance she deserves—a forever home and a pain-free life.

Amy Rose needs hip surgery, scheduled for December 10th, to finally enjoy running, playing, and cuddling without discomfort.
