We are raising money in aid of PIPS SUICIDE PREVENTION IRELAND CHARITY.

Hi, I’m Enya, owner of EMCAEliteFitness. On 7th September 2025, I will be joining Amy & Rebecca, two of my coaching clients, as we take on the Laganside 10K run to raise money for PIPS; a charity that means so much to both of them and their families.

Sadly, Amy lost her big brother Matthew back in February, 2024. “I lost my big brother Matthew to suicide in 2024. Since then PIPS have been an incredible source of support for our family. It has been a heartbreaking time for all of us and some family members have found real comfort by going to their sessions with PIPS. Running the Laganside 10K for PIPS is our way of honouring Matthew’s memory and to spread awareness for others who may be facing similar struggles. Any donations, no matter how big or how small, will help those who are struggling mentally to make use of the amazing support services PIPS offer. The support they have provided to me and my family after we lost Matthew has been incredible.”

Rebecca also lost her big brother Jonathon 'Jack' back in 2011. “It can be very hard to tell who those are that are suffering with their mental health - even the person with the brightest smile in the room can be struggling. I am running the Laganside 10K to raise money for PIPS, a charity who provides so much support to families like mine after we lost someone we loved so much to suicide. Thank you in advance for all of your support and donations.”
