Amy needs us now . . .

Brooke, the always smiling and courageous warrior, battled Neuroblastoma cancer for 8 years of her 12 years of life on earth.   

Brooke has been my Dana-Farber Patient partner.  I've run the Boston Marathon for the past 3 years in her honor and to raise funds for Dana-Farber cancer Research.    I had the privilege of meeting Brooke and Amy at the Pasta Dinner the evening before the marathon.  Although I live in Michigan and they live in New Jersey, we stay in communication through FB.

On June 12 at 1:04 a.m.,  Brooke peacefully was passed from the loving arms of her Mother, Amy, to the  arms of Jesus.  

Now Amy needs our help.   The National Funeral Directors Association puts the average cost of a funeral at more than $10,000. This figure does NOT cover many common expenses such as cemetery costs, markers, flowers, or obituaries.

Please . . . let's help Amy out!
