Amy McFadden Medical Fund

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?  If not, let me tell you about a woman who is a walking miracle.  Our sister-in-law/daughter-in-law, Amy McFadden has gone through a journey that would have made most give up on life and faith.  

Amy was a healthy 48 year old mom of 2 and wife to John.  But in May 2020, she suffered what ultimately was found to be 2 heart attacks.  

Short Overview:
Despite her clinic being shut down, Amy parlayed her medical expertise and helped at the local hospital.  During this time she fell ill.  Interestingly enough, she tested negative for COVID, flu and strep, so they sent her home.  She continued to feel ill and began throwing up and became dehydrated.  So they returned to the doctor.  They realized that she had had a heart attack, finding 2 blockages.  They immediately did surgery to place 3 stents, but unfortunately that didn’t do the trick.  Amy was life flighted to a cardiac hospital in Milwaukee where they found that she had had 2 heart attacks and torn a hole in her heart.  She was placed on the list for a heart transplant.  Her health wavered back and forth.  She was removed from the list until she was healthy enough to undergo surgery.  Surgery was eventually scheduled.  They went in with the intention of most likely placing a TAH (Total Artificial Heart) in, but MIRACLE in the operating room - they were able to repair her OWN heart. What a gift to be able to go home after 3 months and 1 day. 

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!

Prayer warriors have been in place this entire time around the world praying tirelessly.  Please continue to pray for her continued healing and restoration.  

As she continues to heal from home she will be working with Cardiac Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and have many doctors visits.  

Finances have become tighter as Amy is on disability and John is working a full time job, as well as, being caretaker to her and their boys.  John has never really asked for help. We are asking that if the Lord places it on your heart band with us to give some financial support to this amazing family.  If you are unable, please continue to lift them up in prayer that the Lord would meet each and every need.
