Amy Lyford's Altadena Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
Dear generous humans,
Amy Lyford and her two beautiful dogs, Angus and Kaya, lost absolutely everything in the horrific Eaton Fire in Altadena, California on the night of Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. A longtime resident of Altadena, Amy once served her community on the Altadena Town Council. She works as a Professor of Art History at Occidental College and has served as a Department Chair, President of the Faculty, and Associate Dean of the College.
She is an avid supporter of the arts, a published author of multiple books, and an all-around kind, compassionate, and creative human being.
Amy and her late husband purchased their unique home in 1999 and had spent the last quarter century restoring it and filling it with irreplaceable elements of their life together.
We, her friends from Los Angeles' arts community, are raising money to help her get back on her feet. A donation of any amount will help Amy, Angus, and Maya at this unimaginably difficult time. We aim to help her purchase clothing, dog food, human food, personal care items, and anything else she will need.
Thank you beyond measure!
