Hi, my name is Sarah and I am Amy's sister. On Friday, October 6th she had an MRI due to some strange episodes she had been having the last year. Five days later she was told she has a 4.1x3.4x2.7cm mass on the right side of her brain. The good news is that it is NOT cancer has not crossed over to the left side. It is believed she has had this for several years and is the cause of frequent migraines and seizure episodes. Although, this is one of the better tumors to have if you are going to have one, it does need to be removed immediately. She will be having a frontal craniotomy on December 1st.

Anyone who knows Amy, knows she is the first one to be there when you need her. Whether it is a shoulder to cry on, a good laugh, or to help you when you are struggling, she is there. I know, many of us, when we hear this news, try to figure out how we can help. This is that thing. Amy is a hard-working single mom to Nolan (14) and her German Shepherd, Rizzo. I am hoping we can take that financial stress of brain surgery off of her with this fundraiser. Every little bit helps. If you know Amy and know her heart, please consider donating.
