We are friends and family of Amy and Barton Fee. For years we have seen Amy and Barton giving of themselves to thousands of people (over the years). Time and time we have seen their giving hearts and helping hands in our lives and the lives of so many others.
Amy has a heart to serve. When someone else needs something she is the first person to jump to help. Even as she was raising 5 kids in her home, she was the first one to open up the doors to local children/ teens to share a hot meal or even in some cases a place to sleep.
On March 25th, 2021, Amy was helping keep an eye on her grandchildren for a few hours and as she was leaving she fell and injured her leg. Once again in spite of the pain she was feeling she pretended to be fine to make sure she didn’t panic her children and grandchildren. But she immediately realized that she could not stand or place any pressure on her leg. It wasn’t long until she found herself at the local Urgent Care. After an X-ray, the Doctor found that she had broken her tibia just below her patella, which is the load bearing bone, as well as her fibula. They told her that she would need to immediately see an orthopedic surgeon.
On March 26th, 2021 she was sent to the orthopedic surgeon and they found that the diagnosis was slightly worse than what was found by the urgent care. He sent her for an emergency CT Scan that next morning and her surgery will be scheduled on Monday 3/29/2021.
Unfortunately, as with any accident or medical emergency; medical bills are starting to add up. Her husband has had to take time off work in order to care of Amy. She is unable to move in fear of shifting the already broken and depressed bones. The deductible on their insurance is about $16,000. We are standing in faith that there will be quick answers for their needs. I believe the diagnostic tests, the surgery and the after care financial cost is something that we will overcome with your help.
Although this situation is unfortunate it is giving us a chance to help someone who is usually the first person to stand up and help others in need. The Fee's have blessed many people over and over. Today, bless them. As someone who has ministered to many, today sow into their lives. If you know them at all, you know sowing into them is sowing into good soil.
I also ask you to stand with me in prayer. Pray for supernatural healing in Jesus name.
