I just received a call from Amy Briscoe who is a friend and fellow Shipt shopper in the Birmingham metro. Last night their house caught on fire and they lost everything. By the grace of God Amy was awake and she as well as her husband and daughter were able to make it out. Everything is gone, including their cars. Their phones were also inside the house. Amy was able to reach me through her Mom’s Facebook account. Most of their animals did not make it out. She will not be able to work until they figure out a vehicle and she receives a new card from Shipt.

This isn’t the first time this family has encountered a tragedy. Last January their previous home was destroyed when an EF-3 tornado came through Fultondale. I do not know any other details at this time. They are being checked out in the hospital. I do know they can use as many prayers as possible right now. I am starting a go fund me for them because they will need help getting basic items including phones, clothes, toiletries etc. I will update once I have more info. Thank you Shipt family!
