Amy Arnold, You can't keep this girl down!

If you know Amy, then you know she's a fighter. A little pistol that doesn't back down from a fight. Needless to say, she found herself up against a big one. On May 19th, she went in for an "in and out procedure" that we thought went well. After 6 days of excruciating pain and 2 ER visits, we finally had answers. She was septic, in kidney failure and needed to be airlifted immediately. She was flown to University Hospital in SA on Tuesday evening and taken back to what we later discovered would be the 1st of 4 life-saving surgeries within a week. They discovered that her bowel had been punctured during the procedure on the 19th and had been leaking this entire time. Amy has a long road ahead which includes having an open abdomen for several months, Dr's appts, physical therapy and whatever else the Dr's decide is best for her recovery. Not to mention mom life to her two precious kids. The money raised here will help with reoccurring expenses, medical costs along with bills until she is back to her bubbly self. She has been sedated and on a vent since May 24th. After 10 days she communicated by writing. One of the 1st things she said was, "But God". She is full of faith and the most grateful for all your prayers.
