Amy and Marc
Amy, who is 33 years old, a wife and mother of 4 boys, (ages 11, 10, 9 and 2- 1/2) has had a herniated disc in her neck since January. She has had 3 steroid shots in her neck, none of which have helped. She has had numerous problems getting in to see doctors, physical therapists, etc. because of COVID. She also has fibromyalgia. She has frequent migraines and nausea. Finally after all these months of pain and trying to function, surgery is scheduled for November 4th! Until then she is, for the most part, bed ridden. Her husband, Marc, paints for a living but has not been able to work, except a few jobs here and there when someone can help with the children and Amy.
They have applied for several resources such as food stamps, unemployment and other resources and have met requirements for those things, but they have had very little income in the last several months, and are still behind financially.
Their need is, therefore, fairly urgent!
This has been such a stressful time for Amy and Marc and their children! It has been so discouraging for not only them, but their extended families who have tried very hard to help them as much as possible. Marc's mother has been struggling with cancer and treatment for several months and has not been able to help like she would like to.
If they could just have some assistance for the next month so that Marc can take care of Amy and the kids, which really needs to happen, and not be so stressed about making ends meet and putting food on the table for the family, hopefully they can begin to catch up and attain some kind of a 'normal', better life.
Other than monetary needs, certainly childcare, meals, groceries would help them immensely.
Last, but certainly not least, the family has been praying and trusting God with this situation for a long time and continue to have faith that God is in control and will see Amy and Marc and the boys through this. This request for financial assistance is certainly humbling! We are praying that God will touch the hearts of those of you who are moved to help.
