Hi friends of Amy and Dan's,

Some of you will have already heard the shocking news that Amy and Dan's beautiful home was in a huge fire yesterday. They have lost the roof and entire first floor, plus very little can be salvaged on the ground floor safely as any ceilings left remaining are at risk of falling in, so the fire brigade can not let us access much of the property.

While we wait to find out the cause of the blaze and the resulting insurance claim the young family are staying with extended family members and doing all they can to keep their boys in their usual routines without further upset.

Amy, Dan, Marlowe (8) and Dylan (nearly 6) have not only lost their first property and home but have also lost ALL of their clothing, jewellery, art, precious photographs, beds, bedding, wardrobes, and mementos collected over the last 11 years. They will have to purchase a great deal of these items, take time off work to deal with the admin of a huge fire like this, and potentially rent somewhere to live down the line for up to two years while their house is repaired and rebuilt.
