UPDATE June 30, 2020
Since the last update, our Amy suffered multiple seizures that became too much for her body, as the past 10 days saw rapid developments. Amy passed peacefully on the night of June 30, 2020. Her beloved Bron was at her side in the physical realm, with her mother Ginger holding her hand in the spirit dimension of eternal love, where they both now remain with us.
Please hold Bron up in your prayers, meditations, and energies regularly. We are his family. Ginger and I have always been proud to call him our son, and Ali & Ed and Ada & Steven are proud to call him their brother. He loves our Amy with his entire being.
We thank you for the steadfast support that you have provided—spiritually, emotionally, and financially, and we will continue to accept donations to help with final expenses. We send blessings to you all.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Dear Friends and Family: Many of you know that Ginger’s and my daughter Amy was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in her brain last July. Amy’s husband Bron posted initial updates at the beginning of treatments, and many of you offered your prayers and positive energies, as well as financial contributions that helped them with initial expenses, deductibles, and copays.
During the last nine months, the tumors in Amy’s brain had continued to decrease, and Amy was able to go back to teaching, but only in a substitute role for the time being. She also started posting periodic videos to keep you informed of her progress and positive spirit.
Recently, potassium levels had come down, and she needed to miss treatments while spending several days in the hospital to receive the care necessary for these and other levels to rise back to normal, which they have. In the meantime, however, a recent MRI shows that some of the tumors have grown a bit in the brain.
Amy is now in radiation treatments for another week or so, and then she will go on other treatments for the next leg of the journey. She had become physically weak from the extended hospital stay, but she is regaining strength each day. She retains all of her mental faculties and continues to emanate her positive vibes, along with her sense of humor.
Amid this turn of events, the school where Bron has taught as music director for the last few years has eliminated his position for the Fall, due to uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic. He is hopeful to find new work, as there are opportunities in the area that match his experience and skills.
All of us are facing challenges during this pandemic, with many losing financial resources. Even so, we have set up a GoFundMe account in the event that some of you might be in positions to contribute. The donations will go to the account of Amy and Bron.
More importantly, we ask that you renew your spiritual assistance with your positive prayers and energies, according to your personal faiths. I am knowing that each of you is nurturing your spiritual connection to the divine power that dwells within you continually.
(As a side note, some of you will know that April 20, 2020 marks two years in physical time since Ginger’s transition.)
In peace, love, and transcendence,
Mark
