2025 marked the 30th anniversary of the Beijing International Women’s Conference and the Beijing Declaration, where the Chinese government pledged to uphold women’s rights globally. Yet today, the Chinese Communist Party has systematically violated every principle of that declaration. While Beijing presents itself as a champion of human rights, Uyghur women have faced forced sterilizations, sexual violence, and systematic repression. Their bodies have been turned into battlegrounds in a state-led campaign of genocide.
World Uyghur Congress Women’s Committee, in partnership with Campaign for Uyghurs, is co-organizing an International Women’s Conference in the coming months in Berlin, a symbol of freedom and the overcoming of oppression. We aim to expose the CCP’s betrayal of its commitments, highlight the resilience and experiences of diaspora Uyghur women, and reinforce the global fight for the freedom, dignity, and justice of the Uyghur people.
With Us for Them. Your support amplifies Uyghur women's voices and strengthens the fight for freedom and justice for millions of Uyghurs suffering an ongoing genocide.
