Fourteen years ago, Metea Valley High School opened its doors and unveiled an auditorium that stood as an emblem of innovation and possibility. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it has become a hallowed space where dreams unfold into reality, young artists discover their voices, and audiences are transported to worlds crafted by unparalleled dedication and creativity.

The impact of Metea Theater and Metea Music has been astounding, and the memories are countless. Many of you have been part of this journey - as performers who took those first brave steps onto the stage, as directors who sculpted raw potential into captivating performances, as family and friends in the audience whose applause energized our stars night after night.

But the march of time waits for no one, and the technology that once led the industry has fallen behind. Our talented students are reaching for the stars, performing with heart and soul, yet our sound system falters, unable to carry their voices with the clarity and power they deserve. Now, they face microphones that cut in and out, sound receivers that falter, and mic packs on their last breath. This plight has cast a shadow on our productions for several years.

Tonight's performance crystallized our mission. We must take action and ensure that no line goes unheard and no note goes unappreciated. Our mission is to AMPLIFY OUR TALENT, and we need your help.

We are contacting you - our incredible network of parents, alumni, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and local businesses - to raise $15,000. This fund will bring forth a new era for Metea Theater & Music. A sound system befitting the talent of our performers: a new Sound Board, Receiver, Microphones, and Mic Packs warranting the professionalism our students embody.
