The Amplified Lords Prayer (Amplified with relevant supporting scriptures), is presented in four different formats, and is organized and laid out to assist one to pray more effectively, using the outline given us by our Lord Jesus Christ. See current www.ALordsPrayer.com website.
The Lord’s Prayer is universal, non controversial and cuts across denominational lines - it is a great tool to share, and draw people into a deeper, more effective faith and relationship in Christ.
Even if it is all you end up praying, pray the Lord’s Prayer each day...its His Word!...its “The Lord’s Prayer!” you can’t go wrong, it’s impossible for God’s WORD prayed back to Him to not be effective - “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). “Your word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105).
It is the only prayer (model) that comes with a reward - “your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” Reward here in the Greek is apodōsei which means to give up, give back, return and restore. In Jewish Gematria “Reward” here equals: 591 and means to “Rest in the Lord.” Praying the Lord’s Prayer back to Him, and resting in the Lord comes with the promise of the Lord responding, by giving back and restoring something to you!
The Amplified Lord’s Prayer Project “ALP Project” is dedicated to providing the Amplified Lord’s Prayer on the Web, in print, and in audio form for as many "Languages of the Nations" as possible. We plan to replicate a complete Amplified Lord's Prayer website in each major language. Also to provide for professional re-development of our main website and the voice-over feature, the production of a book, pamphlets, and a smart phone app. Additionally, to cover website bandwidth, and promotional/marketing costs to reach as many people as possible with this important tool to assist effective Prayer, Reading Gods Word and Memorization, through the Amplified Lord's Prayer.
An urgent need/project will be to capture and recreate on the website, all 1,817 languages and dialects for the Lord’s Prayer which are on the (now discontinued) Convent of Pater Noster website, before they are lost forever. See current linkage through the Wayback Archive depository on our Translations page.
